Men’s Health – Turning the Ignition Key?

Despite the pioneering work of organisations such as The Men’s Health Forum and Working with Men, Mens’ Health is currently not on the UK public policy agenda. However, a new partnership The Men’s Coalition, made up of the aforementioned Men’s Health Forum and others including Father’s Direct and Relate, intend to bring the issue to a wider public – and hopefully entrench the gender sensitive needs of men – and women – into policy.
This one’s a slow burner though; June 2008 is the date when the Men’s Coalition will unveil it’s work programme and priorities. Further information can be found at The Mens Coalition.
